EUGENIO / CARRILLO Let’s talk
(about)

Designer, formerly architect.

I’m a designer with a background in architecture, now focused on UX/UI and Product Design.

01 / Who I am

The long version.

Eugenio Carrillo 01 / portrait eugenio carrillo, 2026

My work is shaped by how people move through spaces and make decisions inside them. Architecture taught me to design with structure and real constraints, where research, client needs and detail all have to hold at once.

I bring that into digital products: understand the context first, clarify what the product needs to achieve, then design something people can move through without friction.

I’m most interested in the point where design meets technology and everyday culture — products that hold up under real use, for the people using them and the business behind them.

02 / Transition

From architecture to UX.

The medium changed. The discipline didn’t.

Architecture taught me how people move, decide, feel and interact within systems. UX gave me a new medium for that thinking.

The brief is different — pixels instead of plans, prototypes instead of permits. But you still design for the person walking through, not the person looking from outside.
